Brief History
It began with a small group at the parent church (Clay Center Covenant) in Clay Center, KS dreaming about bringing what they had to Washington. A group formed and began praying about it in 2009. After lots of prayers and over time the group formed into a bible study. That Bible study formed into a Launch Team and on October 6th, 2013 it launched its weekly worship services.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to love others so they might know the love of Jesus and to strengthen our bonds so we might together mature in Christ.
Life works best when guided and deeply influenced by His word.
We were created to create and innovate in a way that makes God real in the world around us.
God's message was for all people and so is Faith Connection. We strive to include everyone in participating in God's work in Washington. We feel this is one of the best ways to introduce people to the life-changing relationship with God and His hope for our lives.
The Good News of God affects all aspects of our lives and drives us to care for people in all areas.
Families are important to God and so they are important to us. Your kids are welcome to move around and make noise during our worship service. God put those things in them and we rejoice in that.
We are all about the "capital C" church. We are better together.
We are church that is all about connection; connecting to Jesus and connecting to each other. As a group of imperfect people, each day we continue to learn what it looks like to love each other and our community like Jesus loves us. Faith Connection feels called to minister to the entire Washington area and believes that our actions should impact the entire community and "make a difference."
Our purpose is "to love others so they might know the love of Christ, and to strengthen our bonds so together we will mature in Christ." Our hope is that this mission excites you as much as it does us. If so please join us in making a difference by showing the love of Christ in the Washington area.

There are a few different ways that you can support Faith Connection and what God is doing in our midst.
The number one way to support Faith Connection Covenant Church is to do so in prayer. Prayer is something that we deeply value at Faith Connection. We firmly believe all that has been accomplished so far at Faith Connection and all that will come happens because of prayer.
Faith Connection is a growing church still filling in most of its ministries. If you are interested in helping in any way... from playing in the band, running a soundboard, video, small groups, event planning, prayer team, setting up on Sunday morning or any other way you think you can be helpful then let Stephanie know or send an e-mail to faithconnection@connected2faith.com.
If you are interested in helping move the mission of "making a difference" of Faith Connection forward then we invite you to help financially by giving online, or by mailing support to directly to ...

Thank you for your support. Faith Connection is a group of individuals driven to make a difference in our area. We could not do this without you!
We meet every Sunday for what we call our "Weekly Worship." Worship is far more than just singing to God. It is a time that we set aside weekly to sing together, learn together, give together, encounter God together, talk and share our lives together. (we also drink coffee together.)
Sundays at 9:30 am
The service usually lasts a bit over an hour. However, everyone sticks around and visits afterward and enjoys coffee and sweets.

The red barn building South of Washington on the East side of the road, just North of Bradford Built.
We love children and provide a nursery for young children, and parents are free to make use of this or not at their own discretion. We do this so that parents can relax and focus during the service, but also love and embrace kids moving around and being part of the service while it's going on. We strive to make our worship services engaging for the entire family so most children will get something from each Sunday.
Whatever you feel comfortable in. It is an informal environment and we want people to feel comfortable and like themselves. Stephanie often delivers the weekly message in jeans if that is an indicator for you.
Watch previous sermons that we've recorded on Sundays via the playlist above. We pray that they serve as a blessing to your day.
